About Marc Reed
Marc Reed attended school in Port Elizabeth and joined Spencer Steward Chartered Accountants in 1979. He completed his articles and then joined Delta Motor Corporation (Now General Motors) in 1986. He spent 13 years with the company, gaining experience in all aspects of Financial Management. He studied part-time to obtain his B.Com degree at UPE and completed his Honours B.Compt degree through UNISA.
Life after the corporate world since 1999 made his long-term goal of investing full-time on the stock market a new and exciting reality. He has had a keen interest in the stock market ever since he formed his first investment club in the eighties.
He launched his AWavers Rap stock market newsletter and e-mail service in 2002. The objective of the AWavers Rap is to educate and assist investors in SA to improve their returns, using Technical Analysis tools provided by Market Master Software. He facilitates the AWavers Investor Group which meets in Port Elizabeth each month and in addition a webinar presentation once per month.
Marc also provides comprehensive training on how to successfully use Prime Charts Software (Market Master) for all users in SA.
He also provides Financial Management Consultancy services to a few companies in Port Elizabeth and runs the Prime Charts Branch covering the Eastern Western Cape and Garden Route.
When away from Stock Market Waves you will find Marc, a keen surfer, surfing the waves at JeffreysBay where his wife Bernadette and their dogs have relocated.
